Dr Pace is a Consultant Neurologist based at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. He also works as a visiting consultant at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport.
Dr Pace studied medicine at the University of Malta Medical School and obtained his MD in Medicine and Surgery in 2001. He completed his general medical training in Malta before moving to the UK to read for a PhD in Health Measurement at the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth. He then trained in neurology in the South West Peninsula before being appointed Consultant at Salford Royal in 2014.
As an NHS consultant Dr Pace cares for many patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. He has a specialist interest in multiple sclerosis, and actively participates in the delivery of specialised MS services in Greater Manchester. He is also the clinical governance lead for the MS team at Salford Royal. He is an investigator in a number of research trials in MS, and collaborates in studies on subarachnoid haemorrhage, health measurement and epilepsy with other research units in the UK.

05.11.2016 - At a ceremony in Windsor, the Greater Manchester Multiple Sclerosis Team at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust won a QuDoS award for Evidence in Practice: using audit, evaluation or research to improve patient expereince and outcomes of care.
The QuDoS awards highlight innovation and excellence in MS management and service delivery and recognise the valuable contribution of indiviauls and teams in improving the quality of life and expereince of care for people living with MS. The awards were initiated by pharmaphorum with the support of the MS Trust. Details of the awards may be found here.
12.09.2016 - Together with his colleagues in the Greater Manchester MS Team, Dr Pace presented six abstracts at the 32nd Congress of the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) in London.
